Rental Gear at The Shack
The Shack offers a full line of backpacking rental gear. Backpacks, sleep systems, tents of all sizes, cook systems and critter bags as well as water filters, headlamps and trekking poles. We also have most mountaineering items and paddling equipment.
Packing a backpack is an important part of a successful trip. This video shows how you might pack a full rental kit from the Shack. Don’t forget to add the personal items you’ll need. We’ve added representations of the personal items you’ll need to add to the kit. This should give you a detailed option for fitting everything with the ABC’s (Access, Balance and Compression.) in mind.
