Kayaks are Waiting for You!
Warmer temperatures and COVID-19 are keeping people inside, but responsible social distancing is the perfect way to get outside and get some of that much needed sunshine. And we can help with that. Our rental fleet of kayaks are cleaned and inspected prior to each use. Included with all rentals are paddles, personal flotation devices, helmets and rope bags (air pump included with inflatables). Whether you need a single or double, inflatable or sit-on-top boat, the Arizona Hiking Shack will set you up and ensure your day on the water is a great one.
Kayaks are not the only rentals we offer. We also have camping gear for overnighters or extended outings. There’s lots of gear like tents, sleeping bags, camping stoves, critter sacks, headlamps, backpacks and much more. We also have climbing gear available (helmets, harnesses, shoes, crampons and ice axes). Or how about a metal detector to find some buried treasure or the keys that dropped out of your pocket and into the sand? If you’re planning on river kayaking, did you check the water levels? Our link to the USGS Water Data gives real-time flows at several points down each river. Don’t waste a trip if there’s no water to float on.

Rental Policy
All rentals are for day use, not a 24-hour period. For equipment not returned on the day of rental, customers may be charged an additional fee up to an additional day’s rental for each day late. For equipment not returned or returned in a damaged condition customer will be notified and charged for repair or replacement cost.
